If you have any ideas about how to keep people involved in the NT Challenge I would love to hear them. Encourage your friends to hang in there, even if they just read one of the chapters for the day.
i think the contrast between Phill. 1:17-18 and Phill. 2:3a is interesting.
i think Phill. 2:5 is just plain mean. i think it would be somewhat presumptive to think i knew what Christ's attitude would be in a given situation, and probably next to impossible to fully embrace that attitude while i was in the midst of that situation.
To me this is right up there with John 13:34. This isn't to suggest that i don't try to live up to these verses, but when I spend time dwelling on them i can't help but always feel that i am not living up to them.
